Les cordes timbrées presents:

Boum!, an explosive bestiary of love, a bouquet of tunes, texts, and scenes drunk with happiness, madness, or darkness, full of humour and finesse.

Boum! is a 60-minute show for all ages. With an indescribable format without narration, Boum! delivers an experience made up of sounds, texts, mime, and poetry. Everyone will find something to nourish them through laughter, tears, disbelief, and the beauty of the pieces. It is also an opportunity to resonate with two sounds that could not be more direct: the human voice and the harp, strings activated by breath and others by skin.

It is therefore an hour to forget yourself and better understand yourself, to lose yourself in the pieces, in the interludes, the texts, the images that are created and fade away, like so many windows onto our disjointed emotional daily lives.

You will hear: Aperghis, Berio, Chaplin, Kander, Poulenc, Rebotier, Schönberg, Trenet, and Weill.
You will see: two bodies, two harps that come to life, shoes that tell us a love story without words, and objects that come to life and express themselves.

The duet Les cordes timbrées:

Coming from the same musical background, Laure-Anne Dayer and Marie Trottmann met while working on the Miroir d'ailleurs project, which explored the dialogue between ancient Eastern and Western music. Active as independent musicians in orchestras and chamber music ensembles in Switzerland and internationally, and both teachers at prestigious schools in Switzerland, they felt the need to create a show that broke away from the beaten track of more traditional careers for voice and harp.
After several months of work on the repertoire and research to bring to life the poetic and offbeat universe that inspired them, it was finally their meeting with actor-clown Pierre Miserez that gave birth to Boum!, which he directs.
